THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 17650 of 2016 ORDER :
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology for the State of Telangana appearing for respondents 1 to 3. At the request of both the counsel, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission.
2. The Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of respondents 2 and 3 in processing application dated 30.11.2015 made by the petitioner for grant of quarry lease in respect of stone and metal in an extent of 8 hectares of land situated in survey Nos. 29 and 30 of Thoggudem Village, Palvancha Mandala, Khammam District, pursuant to the recommendation of respondent No.4.

Though various contentions are raised in the Writ Petition, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks direction to respondent No.3 to pass appropriate orders on the application made by the petitioner for quarry lease in respect of stone and metal in an extent of 8 hectares of land situated in survey Nos. 29 and 30 of Thoggudem Village, Palvancha Mandala, Khammam District. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that if the said
application is still pending and if the same is in order, the concerned officer shall deal with the same at the earliest.

Without going into merits of the case and having regard to the circumstances of the case, respondent No.3 is directed to consider application dated 30.11.2015 made by the petitioner for grant of quarry lease in respect of stone and metal in an extent of 8 hectares of land situated in survey Nos. 29 and 30 of Thoggudem Village, Palvancha Mandala, Khammam District, if the same is still pending, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as early as possible preferably within a period of 10 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
