HON'BLE THE ACTI NG CHI EF JUSTI CE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A.SHANKAR NARAYANA WRI T PETI TI ON No. 33501 OF 2016 ORDER (Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Sri Ramesh Ranganathan) Sri Taddi Nageswara Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Dr. N.T.R University of Health Sciences, has placed before this Court a letter dated 19.10.2016, which the University received from the Dean of the fifth respondent informing them that a Demand Draft for Rs.1,37,100/- was sent to Mr. Banoth Gopal, parent of the candidate, by Registered Post with Acknowledgment Due (R.No.96332942IN). Along with the said letter, he has enclosed a copy of the State Bank of Hyderabad, Amalapuram Branch Demand Draft bearing No.084502 dated 19.10.2016 for Rs.1,37,100/-.

As the amount has now been refunded and the petitioner is not eligible for being considered for selection to the Undergraduate Medical Course in fifth respondent, the Writ Petition is closed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
