THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.29786 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus declaring the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 26.6.2015, cancelling the Memorandum of Understanding dated 06.03.2013 as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri T. Rajasekhar Rao the learned standing counsel for the 2nd respondent University.

A perusal of the record reveals that the 2nd respondent entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the petitioner on 06.03.2013 for development and deployment of eresources for six branches of U.G Prorammes of the University for a period of four years. For one reason or the other, the 2nd respondent cancelled the Memorandum of Understanding on 26.6.2015. The record reveals that the petitioner submitted a representation to the Vice Chancellor of the 2nd respondent University on 28.8.2015. However, for one reason or the other, the 2nd respondent has not disposed of the representation of the petitioner so far.

At the time of arguments, the only request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation dated 28.8.2016 made by the

petitioner as expeditiously as possible. The learned standing counsel for the 2nd respondent also consented for the same. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for both the parties, the 2nd respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner dated 28.8.2015 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
