The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.148 of 2016 on the file of Madanapalli Taluk Police Station.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is alleged that originally a patta was granted in favour of one K. Venkata Ramana in respect of Sy.No.691/2 way back in the year 1990 and after his demise, the petitioner along with the family members converted the D.K.T. land as alienable showing that the above Venkata Ramana was an Ex-Army personnel and accordingly, proceedings had been issued. In that regard, the 3rd respondent initiated action by way of suspending the petitioner and then, the petitioner questioned the same by filing O.A.NO.3699 of 2016 and the Tribunal set aside the order of the 3rd respondent and then, the 3rd respondent lodged the present complaint. 4.

The petitioner filed this writ petition challenging the investigation in the above crime. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings in the above Crime. However, respondents Nos.1 and 2 are directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioner.
