O R D E R
The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 4th respondent in not taking any action for incorporation of the name of the petitioner in the revenue records and issuing the pattadar pass books and title deeds in respect of the and admeasuring Ac.3.16 gts., in Sy.No. 531 situated at Polishettygudem village, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District, inspite of the letter of the 2nd respondent dt. 10-8-2018 bearing Lr.No. E4/1034/2018-3 and the written representation dt.
13-7-2018 followed by the application in the prescribed Form-6(A) submitted before the 4th respondent, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the respondent No.4 to conduct enquiry and to issue the Pattadar pass books and title deeds duly mutating his name in the revenue records in accordance with Law, and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.'
Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner applied in the prescribed format in Form-6(A) under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 for mutation being carried out in his favour in relation to the subject land and for issuance of pattadar pass books/title deeds. It is not open to the Tahsildar, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District, to sleep over the said application indefinitely.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District, to take appropriate action on
the application filed by the petitioner. This exercise shall be completely expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
