According to petitioner, her husband, while working as Conductor, died on 15.05.2009. Petitioner claims to have applied for employment on compassionate grounds on 06.11.2010 followed by several other representations. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this Writ Petition is filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Corporation agree for disposal of the Writ Petition with a direction to the respondent - Corporation to consider the request of the petitioner as reflected in the representations made and to take a decision. 4.

In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Regional Manager of the respondent - Corporation to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 06.11.2010, 04.10.2016 and 20.08.2017 for her appointment under bread winner scheme and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law by assigning due reasons in support of the said decision and communicate the said decision to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
