Ramasubramanian) The petitioners are aggrieved by the refusal of the university to grant affiliation for MBA course. Therefore, they have come up with the present writ petition.

Heard Mr. Tarun G. Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. A Abhishek Reddy, learned counsel for the university. The application for affiliation for MBA course was rejected on the ground that there was three faculties in shortage and there was no Doctorate degree holders. Though the petitioner claims that the shortage of three faculties have been made good now, it appears from the records produced that those three persons are not fully qualified for appointment as faculties. It is true that as per the deficiency report, the university indicated that there was one Ph.D holder available and that the same was not taken into account. But the said mistake can hardly advance the cause of the petitioners, when the deficiency of three faculties is not made good properly. Hence the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
