THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.11422 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus to declare the inaction of the respondents in considering the petitioner's application dated 05.5.2015, reminder letter dated 07.2.2016 and the notice dated 20.2.2016, for providing power connection to her premises, as illegal and arbitrary.

At the time of the arguments, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner. The learned standing counsel for TSSPDCL submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to submit fresh representation to respondent Nos.2 and 3, to provide service connection to her premises bearing M.No.142-186, Shah Inayat Gunj, Hyderabad. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for both parties, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the merits of the main case. 3.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is hereby permitted to submit fresh representation to respondent Nos.2 and 3. On submitting such representation, the respondent Nos.2 and 3 are hereby directed to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
