This writ petition is filed against the order dated 01-11-2018 passed by the 3rd respondent by rejecting the application made by the petitioner dated 08-10-2018 in Form VI-A as per the provisions of A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act for mutation and issuance of pattadar passbook and title deed in respect of land admeasuring Ac.5-00 cents in Sy.No.169B of Peddakothiliki Village, Nandavaram Mandal, Kurnool District.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Village Revenue Officer has no power to reject the application. Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, who could not dispute the said assertion. In view of the same, the impugned order is set aside. The 2nd respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 08-10-2018 in accordance with law and take action accordingly within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
