The only grievance of the petitioner is that he filed appeal before the 2nd respondent under Section 29(2) of Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002 read with Rule 29 of Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Rules against the order passed by the District appellate authority dated 31-08-2017. As the same is not being disposed of, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law after issuing notice to the petitioner and affected parties within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
