It is stated by Sri A.Ravi Babu, Standing Counsel appearing for respondents that the respondents have paid to the petitioner gratuity payable to him for the period 02.08.1980 to 01.12.1988 as per order dt.05.10.2007 in W.P.No.21034 of 2007 on 19.05.2008.

In view of the said statement, which is not disputed by the counsel for petitioner, the cause in the writ petition no longer survives for adjudication.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
