HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 18283 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in reverting the petitioner vide orders dated 28.08.2002, as illegal and arbitrary. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of the Court by the learned standing counsel for the respondent company that the petitioner had retired from service during pendency of the writ petition. Therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
