O R D E R

Alleging that pattadar pass books were issued to the petitioners against the rules, the 4th respondent - Tahsildar issued notice in Rc.B/387/2017 dated 11.07.2017 contemplating to cancel them. Aggrieved by the said notice, the present writ petition is filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that in pursuance of the impugned notice dated 11.07.2017, petitioners have filed their explanation on 06.12.2017, and without considering the same, 4th respondent is taking steps for eviction.

Heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. Having regard to the facts and circumstance of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits, writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider the explanation stated to have been filed by the petitioners on 06.12.2017 and pass final orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the passing of final order by 4th respondent, status quo obtaining as on today with regard to possession over the subject property shall be maintained.
