HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 46251 of 2016 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is being taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the representation, dated 15.09.2016, for grant of assignment pattas, in respect of small extent of land situated in Sy.No.363/ B of Halaharvi Vilage, Nandavaram Mandal, Kurnool District, in which the petitioners are in possession and enjoyment, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Land Reforms (Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings) Act, 1973 and Andhra Pradesh Land Reforms (Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings) Rules, 1974.

3) The grievance of the petitioners is that though they made an application on 15.09.2016 till date the same is not considered and hence seeks a direction.

4) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 15.09.2016, in accordance with law, at the

earliest, if the same is made and still pending consideration. No order as to costs.

5) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
