This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.J by the petitioners/ Accused to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.S of 2015 pending on the hle of Court of Special Judge for Economic Offences, Hyderabad. The offence alleged against them are under Section 9 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 2.

As seen from the proceedings sheet, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners on earlier dates, as such, the case was directed to be posted today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today also, there is no representation for the petitioners. In the said circumstances, this Court is not inclined to keep the petition pending.
