THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE N. BALAYOGI WRIT PETITION No. 35581 of 2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This writ petition was filed by the applicants in O.A.No.7350 of 2014 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, seeking implementation of the order dated 04.11.2015 passed therein. By the said order, the Tribunal directed the Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Hyderabad, to verify as to when the petitioners were selected as Armed Reserved Police Constables from the Andhra Pradesh Special Police and when their appointment orders were issued.

Basing on the same, the authorities were directed to consider the request of the petitioners for sanction of 12 years increment and also promotion to the post of Armed Reserved Head Constables and to pass appropriate orders on merits and as per rules within a timeframe. We are now informed that pursuant to the aforestated directions, the Superintendent of Police, Nalgonda, issued Memorandum dated 25.02.2017 informing the petitioners that their request for entitlement to Automatic Advancement Scheme and for further promotion as Armed Reserved Head Constable could not be considered.

In the light of the aforestated Memorandum dated 25.02.2017, the order passed by the Tribunal stands duly complied with. In the event the petitioners are aggrieved thereby, they would necessarily have to seek redressal of their grievances in accordance with law.

Reserving liberty to the petitioners to do so, the Writ Petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
