Neelam Koteshwar Rao, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh, Rep. By Principal Secretary,
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39897 of 2016 ORDER:
This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is filed seeking to declare the registration of FIR against the petitioners by the 2nd respondent vide Crime No.89 of 2016, as illegal and arbitrary. The grievance of the petitioners is that the 3rd respondent has lodged the present complaint against the petitioners alleging that the marriage between the 1st petitioner's son and the 3rd respondent was performed on 29.08.2010 and that the husband of the 3rd respondent along with the petitioners are harassing physically and mentally for additional dowry. The petitioners are apprehending arrest in the hands of the 2nd respondent.
Considering the grievance of the petitioners, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.89 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioners. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________ RAJA ELANGO,J Date: 18th November, 2016 KL
