HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.39502 of 2017 ORDER:
Counsel for petitioner firstly submits that the complaint dated 05.11.2017 is not received by third respondent, thereby the petitioner was compelled to send the same by registered post with acknowledgment due on 06.11.2017. In spite of receipt of complaint, the Crime is not registered much less the investigation is taken up though a few of the allegations in the complaint attract the provisions of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. The Assistant Government Pleader (Home) on instructions submits that the receipt of complaint is entered in General Diary. Enquiry into the entry so made is taken up. The needful will be done and further steps will be taken within a period of four weeks.
The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
