SIVA SANKARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.3439 OF 2016 O R D E R: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This writ petition was filed by the unsuccessful applicant in O.A.No.731 of 2015 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad. By order dated 31.12.2015, the Tribunal disposed of the said O.A. at the admission stage leaving it open to the petitioner/applicant to approach the authorities concerned either by way of a representation for revision of seniority of Head Constables of 1987 batch or to file an appeal against the seniority list of the Head Constables before the appellate authority, claiming seniority over and above six persons belonging to 1987 batch of Police Constables. The issue raised in the O.A.

was with regard to the distinction drawn between petitioner/applicant, who claims to be a member of the 1987 batch of constables and the others belonging to the said batch. As the Tribunal has given an opportunity to the petitioner/applicant to seek reddressal of his grievance before the authorities concerned, we find no grounds to interfere with the said order or adjudicate the matter on merits at this stage. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed reserving liberty to the petitioner/applicant to take advantage of the observations made by the Tribunal and take appropriate action thereon in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
