Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents. 2.

It is not known under provision of law the Inspector of Police, A.C.B, Kurnool Range has asked the 4th respondent not to register any documents in respect of the subject land vide his proceedings dt.31-10-2017. It is not as if there is any provision under the Registration Act, 1908, which enable the A.C.B. Department to address such letters to the 4th respondent. Section 91 Cr.P.C. also has no application here.

Therefore, the impugned order dt.08-11-2017 passed by the 4th respondent refusing to register the document presented by petitioner is set aside and the 4th respondent is directed to ignore the communication dt.31-10-2017 sent by the A.C.B. officials referred to above, and register the document in accordance with the provisions of the Registration Act, 1908 and Indian Stamp Act, 1899 and release the documents within one (01) month to the petitioner. 4.

The Writ Petition is accordingly allowed with the above directions. No costs.
