The petitioner states that he is the absolute owner of land admeasuring Ac.1.98 cents in Survey No.8-1A situated at Byadrahalli Village, Kalyanadurgam Mandal, Ananthapur District and intends to sell the said land. Accordingly, he approached the 3rd respondent. However, the 3rd respondent is not receiving and entertaining the document presented by him for registration. Hence, he filed the present writ petition.
The issue raised in this writ petition is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in W.P.No.16909 of 2015, dated 15.06.2015. In view of the same, following the aforesaid judgment, this writ petition is also disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to receive and process the document presented by the petitioner for registration in relation to the subject property. In the event, the 3rd respondent is of the opinion that the document warrants refusal of registration, he shall pass appropriate orders duly recording the reasons for such refusal in accordance with Section 71 of the Registration Act otherwise register the same if the same is in compliance with Indian Stamp Act and Registration Act.
