This Criminal Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.160 of 2017 on the file of Veenavanka Police Station, Karimnagar District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 384 IPC.

After arguing the matter for awhile, Sri A. Durgaa Bhaskar, learned counsel for the petitioner, requested this Court to direct the concerned to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar v. St at e of Bih ar an d an ot h er 1 In view of the request made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the Police of Veenavanka Police Station, Karimnagar District, are directed to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar v. St at e of Bih ar an d an ot h er . With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
