HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE GUDISEVA SHYAM PRASAD WRIT PETITION No.1005 OF 2016.

O R D E R :

The petitioner has filed this writ of mandamus to declare the action of the second respondent in not renewing the petitioner's father's license as illegal and has also sought for a direction to renew the arms license bearing No. A/173/95/MPL forth with.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home [AP].

3. The learned counsel for petitioner submitted that inquiry is pending with the District Collector, and sought for a direction to complete the enquiry by following the due procedure for transfer of arms license from his father to him.

4. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that enquiry was conducted by the third respondent-Superintendent of Police, Chittoor district and a report was submitted to the second respondent-District Collector, Chittoor.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, since enquiry is already pending with the second respondent-District Collector, Chittoor, the same shall be completed and appropriate orders, be passed in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

7. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
