THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1801 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) to quash the proceedings in FIR No.338 of 2015 on the file of the Jangaon Police Station, Warangal District, registered for the offence under Section 290 IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Heard.

On perusal of the entire material available on record, prima facie there are allegations against the petitioners/A.2 and A.4, which are to be investigated into by the police. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the impugned proceedings at this stage. However, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioners are ready and willing to cooperate with the investigating agency, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioners/A.2 and A.4 and file final report, if any, in accordance with law. The petitioners are directed to appear before the investigating agency as and when required. The Criminal Petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions filed in this Criminal Petition, if any, shall stand closed. _____________________ JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO 15.02.2016 pln
