This writ petition is filed challenging the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in POT Revision Petition No.7 of 2017, dated 23-10-2018 confirming the order of the 4th respondent and further ordered for resumption of subject lands to the Government.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the petitioner has alternative remedy under Section 4-B of A.P. Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act (for short "the Act"). Learned counsel for the 5th respondent also submits that the 5th respondent also filed revision against the impugned order. The same is not being disposed of, they filed WP.No.42005 of 2018 and Batch and this Court disposed of the same by its order dated 22-11-2018 directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the stay petitions filed by the petitioners within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of order and thereafter revisions, within a period of six months.
In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy under Section 4-B of the Act within a period of two weeks from today and the competent authority is directed to dispose of the said revision along with revision filed by the 5th respondent in accordance with law. As a sequel to the disposal of this
petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
