THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3662 OF 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioners-accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.100 of 2016 on the file of Ibrahimpatnam Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 306, 420 and 493 IPC.

Heard and perused the material available on record. It is alleged that the petitioner approached the de facto complainant with a proposal to marry the sister of the de facto complainant (deceased), for which they agreed and on believing his words, the deceased moved closely with the petitioner and he enjoyed her sexually and thereafter, refused to marry her, due to which the decease committed suicide by hanging.

Since the allegations levelled against the petitioner are so serious in nature, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings against the petitioner in the above crime. Accordingly, Criminal Petition is dismissed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J March 17, 2016.
