THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.17664 OF 2016 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents 1 to 3 and Sri S. Arifullah, learned Standing Counsel for Andhra Pradesh Wakf Board (R.4). With consent of both the counsel, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2 . The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in not considering the representation dated 17.02.2016 and further action of the 3rd respondent in not furnishing particulars of the prohibition of the land admeasuring Acs.4.05 cents in Sy.No.205/3 situated at Munugalapadu Village, Kurnool District stating that the same is listed in the Wakf property vide Gazette No.18, dated 02.05.1963 as part of Masjid land as being illegal and arbitrary.
3. Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 17.02.2016, at the earliest.
4. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that he has no objection for the same provided the representation is still pending consideration.
5. Having regard to the circumstances stated above and without going into merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed
of directing the 4th respondent to dispose of the representation, in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
