HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT & HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI C.C. No. 2443 of 2017 O R D E R:- (ORAL) (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Suresh Kumar Kait) This contempt case is filed alleging willful disobedience on the part of the respondent in complying with the order dated 20.10.2014 in W.P.No. 18616 of 2014 passed by this Court.

The learned Government Pleader for Services (A.P.) appearing on behalf of the respondent has produced a copy of the letter No.AG(A&E)AP/ P8/ II/ R-1016/ SP617/ 2018-08/ 3215, dated 11.09.2018 issued by the Office of the Accountant General, Amaravathi, Andhra Pradesh wherein it is mentioned that the petitioner is entitled to Service Pension of Rs.7,884/ - per month payable from 12.07.2007 and Family Pension at the rate of Rs.7,260/ - per month. The amount, which has been paid in pursuance of the order dated 20.10.2014 in W.P.No. 18616 of 2014 by this Court, is Rs.2,60,150/ - towards deathcum-retirement gratuity. It is undertaken by the learned Government Pleader that the Service Pension from 12.07.2007 till date shall be credited to the account of the petitioner, within a period of two weeks.

In view of the above, we hereby discharge the respondent from contempt proceedings.

SKK,J & AKS,J CC_2443_2017 Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed as no further orders are necessary. If the petitioner is still aggrieved by the action of the respondent, he may challenge the same before the appropriate forum. No order as to costs. As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
