THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.22924 OF 2016 ORDER:

1 This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India challenging the inaction on the part of the third respondent in disposing of the representation of the petitioner dated 08.07.2016. 2 The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Gram Panchayat is proposing to construct panchayat building on the tank bund of the village in violation of the provisions of the Panchayat Raj Act. It is his further submission that the petitioner made a representation to the third respondent on 08.07.2016 to that effect. 3 Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the fact that the petitioner made a representation to the third respondent on 08.07.2016, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case.

4 Hence this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 08.07.2016 in accordance with law within one month from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
