THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.3427 OF 2018 ORDER:

The order of the Joint Collector dated 10.2.2017 declaring the subject property as wakf property and for earmarking as grave yard for muslim community, has been suspended by this Court vide order dated 2.8.2017. Alleging violation of the said order, this contempt case is filed.

According to the petitioners, subsequent to the order of this Court, petitioners made applications to the respondent authorities for mutation of their names in the revenue records, but the same are not being considered, which amounts to violation of the orders of this Court.

The prayer in the main writ petition is to direct the respondent No.2 to re-examine, re-survey the entire records from 1954 onwards in Survey No.1of Kudakuda village. Even in the main prayer, no relief is sought as to mutating the names of the petitioners in the revenue records. However, this Court is not expressing any opinion on the same. Since there is no direction granted by this Court for mutation of petitioners names in revenue records, it cannot be said that the respondents have violated the orders of this Court. 4.

Therefore, the contempt case is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No costs. ____________________ P. NAVEEN RAO, J Date: 7.6.2019 DA
