The case of the petitioners is that they filed appeal No.2291 of 2016, dated 29-04-2016 before the 2nd respondent under the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. As the said appeal is not disposed of, the present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

In view of above facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent-appellate authority is directed to dispose of the appeal No.2291 of 2016, dated 29-04-2016 filed by the petitioners within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of order after issuing notice to the affected parties. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
