THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.1 to 3 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition No.13043 of 2018 ORDER :

The petitioners are the A.1 to A.6 in C.C.No.461 of 2016 on the file of the XIII Addl.Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, City Criminal Courts, Hyderabad at Nampally, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 420 and 120-B IPC and u/ sec.4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, on the report of the 2nd respondent-defacto-complainant.

The petition I.A.No.1 of 2018 filed by 2nd petitioner-G.Sriramulu seeking to permit him as General Power of Attorney to represent his son 5th petitioner-Raju Gajjeli, is allowed.

Both the petitioners and the defacto-complainant along with their counsel present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2018 to compromise the matter and compound the offence. In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.1 to 3 of 2018 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.6 in C.C.No.461 of 2016 on the file of the XIII Addl.Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, City Criminal Courts, Hyderabad at Nampally. The petitioners/ A.1 to A.6 are acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
