Mr. Baikan Srinivas Yadav v. The State Of Telangana

HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.1 to 3 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition No.13013 of 2018 ORDER :

The petitioners are the accused in C.C.No.597 of 2017 on the file of the XV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Medchal outcome of Cr.No.249 of 2015 of Medchal Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, on the report of the 2nd respondent-defacto-complainant.

The petition I.A.No.1 of 2018, filed by Baikan Satnarayana Yadav-A.2, father of A.1, seeking to permit Special Power of Attorney (for short, 'SPA') to represent his son-A.1, is allowed and further said Satyanarayana Yadav-A.2 is also permitted by the Court as SPA for his daughter-A.4 on their submitting original SPA and the same is available in the file.

The A.2-SPA, A.3, A.5 to A.9 and the defacto-complainant along with their counsel present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2018 to compromise the matter and compound the offences. In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences.

In the result, the I.A.Nos.1 to 3 of 2018 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing proceedings against the petitioners/A.1 to A.9 in C.C.No.597 of 2017 on the file of the XV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Medchal outcome of Cr.No.249 of 2015 of Medchal Police Station. The petitioners/A.1 to A.9 are acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled.
