This writ petition is filed challenging the impugned letter dated 20-07-2018 issued by the 2nd respondent to send original patta and other relevant documents in respect of subject land in reply to the legal notice through the petitioner's counsel dated 04-07-2018.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that no document is filed by the petitioner to show that he is in possession of the subject land. Learned counsel for the petitioner says that the petitioner will file relevant documents before the authorities. This Court is unable to understand how the writ petition is maintainable against reply notice issued to the petitioner. As such, the writ petition is misconceived. In view of the same, I do not see any reason to entertain the writ petition and accordingly, the same is dismissed. However, it is open for the petitioner to file relevant documents in pursuance to the reply notice issued to him.
