When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation and hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
