- 2 - THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE NO.3346 OF 2018 ORDER:
This contempt case is filed alleging violation of the order dated 17.08.2018, passed by this Court in W.P.No.28942 of 2018. 2.
This Court taking note of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner in the writ petition, that there is no other candidate belonging to BC-C Category, who secured more merit than the petitioner, directed the respondents to verify and if petitioner is coming within the zone of selection against BC-C General vacancy of Secondary Grade Teacher (Telugu) in Karimnagar District, he be subjected to certificate verification process. 3.
In paragraph No.11 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the Telangana State Public Service Commission, it is stated that the last picked up BC-C General-Unreserved candidate secured 54.747 marks, whereas, petitioner secured 41.686 marks, therefore, he was not picked up due to his lower merit. In view thereof, it cannot be said that there is willful disobedience of the orders of this Court.

Having regard to the above, the Contempt Case is closed. However, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedies, if he has any other grievance. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
