HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE THOTTATHIL B. RADHAKRISHNAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION No.44618 of 2018 ORDER (ORAL): (Per Hon'ble The Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan) This Writ Petition is filed alleging that the petitioner's husband, Kasturi Venkatesh, has been illegally detained by the police.

2. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits on instructions that the alleged detenu was picked up by the police in connection with Crime No. 729 of 2018 on the file of Airport Police Station, Visakhapatnam City, for offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 471 I.P.C., and other provisions. He is stated to be the first accused therein. He was arrested and being produced before the Jurisdictional Magistrate with remand report.

3. This submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home is recorded.
