Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Energy for respondent No.1 and Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing counsel for Transmission Corporation for respondents 2 and 3.

2.

Petitioner claims to be the owner of agricultural land to an extent of Ac.8-15 guntas in Sy.No.77 of Annaram Village, Mahadevpur Mandal, Jayashanker-Bhupalpalli District. In this writ petition, petitioner complains that he is not paid compensation by the Transmission Corporation, for the land utilized to construct tower for erection of 220 KV line from 400 KVSS, Yellampally (Sundilla Pump House) to proposed 220/11 KVSS at Kannepally (Medigadda Pump House) under Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme. Petitioner therefore, prays to direct the respondents to pay compensation as per his entitlement.

3.

Counter affidavit is filed by respondent No.3. 4.

Learned Standing counsel submits that the Corporation is willing to pay compensation to the extent of land utilized and towards crop damage.

However, a person claiming compensation for erection of tower and crop damage has to fill up prescribed proforma giving all the particulars of property, duly certified by the Tahsildar, about ownership.

- 3 - 5.

According to learned Standing counsel, as the said forms are not signed by the Tahsildar, as required, the claim was not processed and as and when such fully complied form is filed, compensation amount would be paid.

6.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the said fact and submits that petitioner would take appropriate steps immediately.

7.

Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of, giving liberty to the petitioner to file Valuation Statement of Damages to Trees/Crops and land affected for erection of tower, if any, etc., duly signed by the Mandal Tahsildar. As and when such statement is filed, the respondent-Corporation shall process the same and pay the amount within two (2) weeks after submission of statement by the petitioner.

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
