This contempt case was instituted alleging disobedience of the order of this Court dated 07.08.2017 in Crl.P.No.6836 of 2017. 2.

Heard.

This Court, by order, dated 07.08.2017 in Crl.P.No.6836 of 2017 directed the learned III Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar to dispose of Criminal Appeal No.617 of 2017 within four weeks from the date of receipt of that order.

Since the time stipulated by this Court is expired, this Contempt Case is closed, with a direction to the learned III Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar to dispose of the Criminal Appeal No.617 of 2017 on its own merits within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, without fail and if necessary by following the expression of the Apex Court in Bani Singh and others v. State of U.P1 5.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any shall stand closed.
