THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 42809 OF 2017 O R D E R:
This writ petition is filed alleging inaction on the part of the Police in taking further action in respect of FIR No.495 of 2017, dated 08.12.2017, registered against respondent No.4 for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 427, 324, 341, 504 and 506 IPC read with Section 34 IPC.
Today, learned Government Pleader for Home placed before this Court written instructions, wherein it is stated that crime is being investigated and necessary steps would be taken expeditiously.
As can be seen from the written instructions and the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, basically there appears disputes between the petitioners on the one hand and respondent No.4 on the other in relation to land admeasuring Acs.7.31 guntas in Survey No.267 of Shankarpally Village, Ranga Reddy District.
Inasmuch as FIR was registered on 08.12.2017, respondent No.3 shall complete the investigation and take necessary steps as expeditiously as possible. However, the petitioners are at liberty to approach appropriate civil Court seeking protection with respect to their rights in the land in issue. Since the allegation of the petitioners that there being harassment with threats of bodily harm, respondent No.3 shall ensure that necessary protection be given to them.
With the above observations, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
