HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.16098 OF 2002 ORDER:

The petitioner-Corporation filed this writ petition challenging the award dated 7.12.2001 passed by the Industrial Tribunal-II, Hyderabad, in I.D.No.133/2000, wherein the order of removal of the 1st respondent-workman was modified to that of reinstatement of the 1st respondent-workman with continuity of service with all other benefits but with 25% of back wages. 2.

When this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the petitioner-Corporation informed that in pursuance of the award passed by the Tribunal, the petitionerCorporation reinstated the 1st respondent-workman into service and that the workman also retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation.

In view of the above, the cause in this writ petition does not survive.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
