HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.44825 of 2018 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondent No.4 in not carrying out the corrections in revenue records in respect of petitioner's agricultural lands to an extent of Ac.4.56 cents, situated at Ankampally Village, Beluguppa Mandal, Anantapur District, for issuing Pattadar Pass Books and Title Deeds, Pahanis, 1B.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the Tahsildar has no power to make corrections in Pattadar Pass Books and Title Deeds, that too, beyond one year. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will make necessary revision before the Revisional Authority under Section 9 of the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short 'the Act').

In view of the above, it is open for the petitioner to make necessary application under Section 9 of the Act, before the competent authority and on such application the competent authority is directed to consider and dispose of the same, in accordance with law.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these Writ Petitions, shall stand closed.
