HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.44868 of 2018 ORDER:

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that when the petitioner applied for grant of family member certificate, the same is rejected by the 3rd respondent on the ground that the father and mother of the deceased died, as such, petitioner is not entitled for grant of family membership certificate.

He relied on G.O.Ms.No.145 Revenue (SER.II) Department, dated 25.04.2015. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the GO Ms.No.145, dated 25.04.2015 is not applicable to the State of Telangana.

It is also not brought to the notice of this Court under which provision of law, the respondents are obligated to issue family membership certificate to the petitioner. In view of above facts and circumstances, I do not see any reason to entertain the Writ Petition. However, it is open for the petitioner to avail alternate remedies under law, if he is so advised.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. ___________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J Date: 11-12-2018 kvs
