Sri. Golla Nageswara Rao, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh

THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.42749 of 2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.).

When the matter is taken up, written instructions, furnished by the Inspector of Police & Station House Officer, Mangalagiri Town Police Station, Guntur Urban, are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader. The said instructions read as under:

"It is submitted that there has been no complaint made by any person before the 4th respondent police station against the alleged purchase and sale of lands by the petitioners herein as stated in the affidavit. Therefore, there has been no action was taken against the petitioners, as alleged in the writ petition. It is absolutely false to allege that the 4th respondent has been harassing the petitioners to cancel the registered sale deeds of the scheduled property. The petitioners may be having some civil disputes in the matter with the third parties. The petitioners filed the present writ petition with all false and baseless allegations against the 4th respondent herein, on an apprehension that they may approach the police and the 4th respondent may take action against the petitioners. As stated supra, none approached the 4th respondent police station and no action was taken by the 4th respondent against the petitioners herein.

It is specifically reiterated that the 4th respondent has never threatened and harassed the petitioners nor interfered in the civil disputes of the petitioners at any point of time".

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by placing on record the above written instructions. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________ A.V.SESHA SAI 22nd January, 2018.
