CVNR,J & GSP,J M.A.C.M.A.No.3221 of 2017 03.10.2018 JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice Gudiseva Shyam Prasad) This appeal is filed by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation feeling aggrieved by award and decree, dated 02.05.2016, in M.V.O.P.No.510 of 2012 on the file of the learned Motor Vehicle Accidents Claims Tribunal-cum-X Additional Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad.

The Registry has placed before this Court, award, dated 08.09.2018, passed by the Lok Adalat organized by the High Court Legal Services Committee, a perusal of which shows that the parties have settled the dispute, as per which, the compensation of Rs.50,55,080/- awarded by the Tribunal has been reduced to Rs.39,00,000/- while allowing interest awarded on such compensation at 7.5% per annum to remain unaltered. 3.

The appeal is, accordingly, disposed of in terms of the aforementioned Lok Adalat award.

As a sequel to disposal of the appeal, M.A.C.M.A.M.P.No.5662 of 2017 filed by the appellant for interim stay stands disposed of as infructuous.
