This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the Petitioner/Accused seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.173 of 2018, pending on the file of the Station House Officer, Draksharama Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 420, 409 and 506 of I.P.C.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor, appearing for the 1st respondent - State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press upon the other grounds mentioned in the Petition and he only seeks that a direction be given to the Police concerned to follow Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. 4.

Hence, considering the above, the Criminal Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Police concerned to follow Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. before affecting the arrest of the Petitioner/Accused. 5.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this Petition shall stand closed.
