Tirupati Urban, Chittoor Dist) AND The State of Andhra Pradesh, rep. by its Public Prosecutor, High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad, for the State of Telangana and the State of A.P. Respondent/Complainant Petition under Sections 437 & 439 of Cr.P.C. praying that in the circumstances stated in the grounds filed herein, the High Court may be pleased to release the Petitioner/Accused on bail pending investigation, inquiry and trial in Crime No. 87/2017 of Prohibition and Excise Police Station, Tirupati Urban, Chittoor District. The Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the petition and the grounds filed herein and upon hearing the arguments of Sri D.Purna Chandra Reddy, Advocate for the Petitioner and of the Public Prosecutor (AP) for the Respondent, the Court made the following ORDER:

" This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/Accused under section 437 and 439 of Cr.P.C., seeking to enlarge her on bail in Crime No. 87 of 2017 of Excise Police Station, Tirupati Urban, Chittoor district, registered for the offences punishable under section 8 [c] read with section 20 [b] of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/accused and the learned Public Prosecutor for the respondent/State.

3. As per the prosecution case, 4.200 Kgs., of ganja was found in the possession of the petitioner/accused.

4. The counsel for the petitioner states that she is in jail since 06/11/2017. The mediators report is however there on record. FSL report is yet to be received. But considering the quantity of ganja and the fact that the petitioner is in jail since long time, this Criminal Petition is allowed.

5. Accordingly, the petitioner/accused shall be released on bail in Crime No. 87 of 2017 of Excise Police Station, Tirupati Urban, Chittoor district, on her executing a personal bond of Rs.10,000=00 (Rs. Ten Thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of V-Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Tirupati, Chittoor district.

6. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed."
