THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.45038 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for respondents. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.2 in not considering the case of the petitioner for remission of property tax in respect of premises bearing municipal No.3-1-99/ 4 (first floor), Kodangal road, Tandur, Vikarabad (District), in spite of notice dated 29.06.2018, as illegal and arbitrary.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 29.06.2018, made by the petitioner seeking reduction in the property tax. Learned Standing Counsel would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered, at the earliest.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 29.06.2018, made by the petitioner seeking remission of property tax in respect of the premises bearing municipal No.3-1-99/ 4, situated at Kodangal road, Tandur, Vikarabad District, in

accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from today. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
