This writ petition is filed complaining inaction on the part of respondents 1 to 3 in taking action against the fourth respondent, who is the Counselor of Ward No.11 and who is attempting to occupy vacant back side area of the houses of the petitioners and others adjacent to a nala situated at Srikalahasti Town.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that if the representation, dated 20.11.2017, of the petitioners is considered and disposed of, the ends of justice would be met. 3.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondentMunicipality, on instructions, would submit that no such representation is received by the authority concerned and that if the petitioners are aggrieved, they may be directed to give a representation to the authority concerned for consideration and disposal in accordance with procedure established by law.

The petitioners have not produced any acknowledgment showing that the representation, dated 20.11.2017, is served either upon the Municipal Commissioner or the police concerned. 5.

Having regard to the facts and submissions, the writ petition is disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioners to submit a fresh representation or a copy of the representation, dated 20.11.2017, to the second respondent - Municipal authority within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On the petitioners submitting such representation or a copy thereof, the second respondent shall consider

and dispose of the same within a period of three weeks thereafter in strict accordance with procedure established by law and communicate the decision taken thereon to the petitioners within a week thereafter.
