THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.44218 of 2017 ORDER:

The petitioners joined the service as Hostel Welfare Officers Grade - II in the year 1991. Petitioners claim that they were fully qualified and eligible to be promoted as Hostel Welfare Officers Grade - I. However, they are not considered for promotion.

According to the petitioners, certain illegal promotions were made to the unqualified persons and so far as those promotions are not reviewed. They submitted representations on 30.08.2017 and 13.09.2017, but there was no response. Hence, this Writ Petition.

Since the representations submitted by the petitioners are not responded so far, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent, to consider the representations, dated 30.08.2017 and 13.09.2017, submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
